Bora da!

Bora da peeps.  I've been to Wales!  My husband and I decided to shrug off work pressures and spend a lovely long weekend in Wales.  We were blessed with unbroken sunshine, which made the Daffodills glow and the Spring lambs frollic.

I do love Wales.  Beautiful countryside, idyllic coastline and best of all, it's so quiet and feels like...ssshh...a little secret.

One place I always get excited about visiting is Melin Tregwynt in Pembrokeshire.  A small family business that produce the most beautiful, woven, wool home furnishings - blankets, cushions, lampshades, hats, bags....you name it.  I think I even have a woven Tregwynt bookmark.  Look carefully and you'll find their stuff in all the home furnishing magazines, on TV sets and yes, even on PG Tips monkey ads.

Woven on traditional looms, the mill really evokes a sense of nostalgia and utter admiration for the craft.
Watch this!

I've many photos to share of our Wales trip next time.  Until then, grab yourself a bunch of daffs and remember this Welsh proverb... a lame cat is better than a swift horse when the rats infest the palace.
